Spiritual Pauses
Nebraska Benedictine Oblates host Spiritual Pauses or brief seminars every year. The seminars are usually scheduled on a Saturday morning and held at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital – Donlan Conference Center. The Pauses are as follows:
- Lectio Divina
- Liturgy of the Hours
- Rule of Life
- Visio Divina

Oblation Ceremony
On Sunday, June 8, 2025 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital, enquirers, novices, and oblates from all three Nebraska Chapters will gather in the Chapel at Madonna.
We ask that individuals making their initial or final oblations to arrive at 2:30 p.m. that day. Several sisters from Sacred Heart Monastery will be present to greet enquirers and novices, to meet with them, and to practice for the ceremony.
During worship, new members will make their initial oblation, novices will make their final oblation, and current oblates will have the opportunity to renew their oblations. A time of fellowship will follow.
